Pods
Most of a page’s visible content consists of formatted text... optionally including images or video and links (to pages or files). This is referred to as "normal" content.
Normal page content is entered and displayed through individual pods.
The CMS utilizes a number of different pod types to accept, store, and display content. There are three standard pod types and a increasing number of specialty pod types.
Standard Pod Types
Pods are added by selecting the desired type from the list that appears when you click on the add icon of a pod. There are three standard types of pods:
Normal page content formatting is usually done within the 'regular' pod type. It can vary widely from page to page (even pod to pod) and can dramatically affect how the page is seen by your site's users.
A regular pod typically consists of a "Header" and "Body". The Header text and the Body text are independently formatted to display the content in a variety of ways, however a pod style can be applied to the entire pod.
Regular pods are the most common type; their contents can be formatted as a paragraph, bulleted list, or numbered list.

Tipdown sections are useful for incorporating detailed information on a page, which initially does not display, but can be shown or hidden as desired by the user. This function allows all pertinent information to be kept together on the same page, but with a condensed display that increases the page’s readability. The content of these areas will not show on the front end until the user selects the “open” option.
Tipdowns are initiated by selecting a new pod type of Tipdown. The content of the tipdown is added by inserting pods as "children" (nested inside) of the tipdown pod.
Function pods are used to extract and display specialized content typically entered in a . Function pods are highly specific to an individual module.
