Pod Styles

Pod styles (primarily intended for 'regular' pods) can be applied to an entire pod to make use of predetermined site-appropriate formatting. Pod styles allow the administrator to quickly add styling to their content by selecting an option (or combination) from a simple menu.

Pullquote

Pullquote style -- Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nunc vestibulum libero sit amet libero. Nulla metus.

A Pullquote style typically takes the tagged pod, moves it to the side, adds the quote marks, changes the font settings, and allows content to wrap around it.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nunc vestibulum libero sit amet libero. Nulla metus. Pellentesque scelerisque elit nec ante. In condimentum massa quis sem. Proin felis. Nullam ac massa nec neque dictum venenatis. Praesent nec urna non tellus molestie lobortis. Curabitur adipiscing. Pellentesque aliquet tellus eu sapien. Phasellus lorem. Ut luctus aliquam leo. Nunc quam nunc, scelerisque at, tincidunt vitae, porttitor eget, turpis. Morbi a nibh luctus neque posuere blandit. Donec sagittis enim in erat. Mauris accumsan dapibus nisi. Etiam ut arcu. Proin id massa ac nisl adipiscing facilisis. Sed vulputate tellus id ligula. Pellentesque vulputate scelerisque sem.

Callout and Highlight

Callout -- Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nunc vestibulum libero sit amet libero. Nulla metus.

The Callout and Highlight styles typically utilize site-specific formatting; each is merely a label to which unique styling is applied based on the site's unique design.

The way in which these pods are represented here may differ dramatically from your own site. Test each to become familiar with how they work on your website.

Indent

Indent performs like an HTML blockquote... making the selected pod narrower by moving both sides in toward the middle.

Sidebar

Similar to a Pullquote, the Sidebar style moves the pod off to the side and allows content to wrap around it. Typically, no other styles (e.g., font styles) are applied, though it is common for a Sidebar pod to have a vertical line helping to visually separate it from the normal content.

Once you've learned how to style your pods, it is important to grasp the concept that a pod can contain other pods. Known as nesting, this parent-child relationship can become a powerful tool. True flexibility in formatting will come when styled pods are placed inside or after other styled pods... when the combination of multiple styles works together to created something more interesting than they are individually.
